This program generally is attended by successful Schutzhund trained dogs. Training can be continued from FH, Schutzhund or from scratch. Training is carried out in two stages. On completion of stage one candidate will start working on the police force. After a certain period the candidate will continue with stage 2 training which is a more complex stage with extra smells to be learnt. As in ZH training there is two types of PFP training. Standard PFP training and K-9 specialty branch PFP training. The length of the training period will depend on breed, character, ability and previous training.
